Shiva Farashahi, Ph.D.

Flatiron Research Fellow, Neuroscience, CCB, Flatiron Institute

Shiva Farashahi joined the Flatiron Institute in 2019 as a Research Fellow in the Center for Computational Biology. Her research focuses on detailed computational models that provide feasible mechanisms for both behavioral and neuronal data. Shiva received her Ph.D. degree from the Department of Brain Sciences at Dartmouth College. She also holds an M.Sc. in Biomedical engineering from University of Tehran.
